The Envinity Whole Home Energy Audit
An Energy Audit is the Foundation of Any Home Improvement Plan
Did you recently purchase a home and need a little guidance figuring out where to start upgrading? Or have you been living in your home for a while, and are frustrated with trying to keep the temperature at a comfortable level? Are you considering new energy-efficient windows or replacing your furnace but don’t know where to start or what to install? Before making individual home improvements, it is important to know how your home, as a system, uses energy. The Envinity whole home energy audit is the first step to saving energy, gaining control over your energy costs, and increasing the comfort of your home.
Envinity believes that one thing is true for each and every home we touch – with a little planning, your home can be energy-efficient and cost effective, and it can be a more comfortable place for you and your family to live. We offer all of the services to achieve these goals, and it all starts with an Envinity Whole Home Energy Audit.
During an Envinity Whole Home Energy Audit, our auditors will discuss your home in detail with you. We’ll analyze your energy bills, complete health and safety inspections, and perform a full diagnostic assessment using specialized equipment such as a blower door and an infrared camera to detect sources of energy loss.

In most cases, your energy audit will be scheduled within 2-4 weeks. Leading up to the audit, it is helpful to share your most recent utility bills with the energy auditor.
During the site inspection portion of the energy audit, our auditors will spend 3 to 4 hours at your home performing diagnostic testing, talking with you about your energy usage, and assessing the home for health and safety issues.
The bulk of the work takes place back at the Envinity office, where a detailed energy model is created for your home and the energy audit report is written. This report will help you identify the best opportunities for energy savings.
Once your report has been submitted, we will schedule a follow-up meeting at your home to discuss the recommendations and next steps.
As a vertically integrated company, Envinity has all of the in-house expertise to install the measures we recommend.
Now with a $250 Rebate from First Energy, the energy audit makes even more sense for Centre County residents. An Envinity Whole Home Energy Audit can have a net cost as low as $100 with the rebate PLUS up to an additional $200 of installed home conservation measures such as low-flow showerheads and CFL light bulbs.
