Geothermal Heat Pumps
Envinity installs home geothermal systems throughout central Pennsylvania. Geothermal pumps, also called ground-source heat pumps, use the Earth’s natural temperature for home heating and cooling. A fluid is circulated through pipes that are placed in the ground. In simple terms, the heat pump extracts heat from the ground and transfers it to your home in the winter.
During the summer, the heat pump extracts heat from your home and transfers it to the ground. While electrical energy is used in the process, much less is used than with conventional heating and cooling methods.
Envinity offers geothermal design and installation solutions that can be implemented into new or existing systems. Contact us to learn more about the energy efficient heating and cooling benefits of a geothermal system, or to learn more about 30% tax credits that are available NOW.
